An opportunity to join a growing local engineering consultant as a Senior Structural Engineer, delivering design engineering solutions across a range of mining and mineral processing projects. This role combines hands-on technical design with the leadership of a small structural team.

Qualifications & Skills
Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia.
10+ years consultancy design experience
Mining and minerals project background
Robust SpaceGass experience
Brownfields capital project experience
Site inspection experience required
Strong stakeholder management skills & able to guide junior engineers
Strong understanding of industry guidelines
Excellent communication and reporting skills

Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver structural design for minerals and heavy industry projects, including mining structures, non-process infrastructure and associated facilities
Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings and specifications




Coordinate work packages with internal teams and external stakeholders
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
Contribute to design reviews, constructability assessments and risk management
Support project delivery through all phases including concept, feasibility, detailed design and construction support
Engage with clients to provide trusted technical advice and solutions
