Battery Room Operators – Afternoon/Night Shift (Larapinta, QLD)

Makibe Australia is currently seeking an experienced Battery Room Operator with High Reach forklift experience to join our client’s team in Larapinta, QLD. This is a hands-on role offering stability, consistent hours, and long-term opportunities for the right candidates.

Shift Details
Afternoon/Night Shift: 2.00pm – 10:00pm/10.00pm - 6.00am
Ongoing roster: 5–6 days per week (Monday to Sunday)
Weekend flexibility required

Key Responsibilities
Battery exchange and asset management
General machine operation
Routine maintenance – battery watering, cleaning, and basic upkeep
RF scanning and stock control
Forklift operation (including high reach)
General factory hand and housekeeping duties

About You
Adaptable availability, including weekends.



Afternoon or night shift flexibility as per business requirements
Ability to work a rotating roster (Monday to Saturday)
Current LF Forklift Licence with high reach experience
Own reliable transport and drivers license
Mechanically minded with a practical, hands-on approach
Physically fit and confident using hand tools
Experience operating electric pallet jacks
