Hays is partnering with a large public sector organisation seeking experienced Finance Business Partners to support a range of business units during a period of growth and transformation. Based in the Adelaide CBD, these contract positions offer an immediate start and the chance to make a genuine impact.

Your new role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide strategic financial advice, budgeting support and financial analysis. Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities may include:
Budget development, monitoring and forecasting
Financial reporting and performance analysis
Preparation of business cases and financial costings
Supporting capital, operational and project funding activities
Providing strategic advice to leaders on financial and workforce planning
Identifying risks, prospects and continuous improvement initiatives
Stakeholder engagement across operational and corporate business units
Supporting financial governance, compliance and policy requirements





What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you will possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience in finance business partnering, management accounting or commercial finance
Solid budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working within a large and complex organisation
Previous government sector experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
CPA or CA qualification, or working towards completion, will be advantageous
