We’re looking for casual waitstaff to join our team at the National Portrait Gallery. You’ll be part of both the café and gallery events - so no two shifts are quite the same.

This role suits someone who enjoys being busy, likes working with good people, and takes pride in warm, polished service.

Saturday $40.62
Sunday $47.39

What you’ll be doing:




Delivering friendly, professional service
Running food and drinks with confidence
Clearing tables and keeping service flowing
Working on the front counter when needed
Supporting gallery functions and events
Communicating clearly with guests and your team

You’ll fit right in if you:
Have at least 1 year hospitality experience
Can carry 3 plates and a tray comfortably
Have barista skills (a big plus)
Are reliable, well-presented and positive
Can work both independently and as part of a team
Hold a current RSA and Australian working rights
