Brighton Wine Bar is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in Scarborough

Brighton Wine Bar is focused on high-quality food, premium Australian wine and warm, professional hospitality. We are looking for a chef who takes pride in their work, works well within a team and can consistently deliver dishes to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
Managing your designated section during service
Completing daily food preparation and mise en place
Assisting with ordering, stock rotation and inventory control
Monitoring food quality, portion control and presentation
Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and organisation
Following food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures
Minimising food waste and assisting with food cost control
Working closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and wider kitchen team




Assisting with the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff
Contributing to menu preparation and seasonal menu development

To be successful, you will ideally have:
Relevant commercial cookery qualifications or equivalent industry experience
Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar position
Robust knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent attention to detail and presentation
Availability to work a adaptable roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
