We are a small team committed to our clients tax accounting needs, and currently looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper.

Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting (Accounting)

We are looking for someone who:
Has a proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
Certificate III in Finance or equivalent qualification, minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
Has a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
Qualified attitude and appearance
Is friendly, warm and nurturing.
Is a problem solver with a can-do attitude.
Has a robust attention to detail and accuracy.
Is hospitable and anticipates the needs of others.
Is proficient in Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organisational skills with effective time management.

Ability to work independently and in a team setting, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Typical duties include, but aren’t limited to:
Oversee and maintain accurate financial records for the businesses, including daily transactions, STP Payroll processing, invoicing, and expense tracking for multiple business clients of a variety of industries.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate billing and receipt processing,
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
