Margi by Azure is a vibrant café and restaurant located in Moore Park, NSW,

renowned for delivering exceptional food and service in a welcoming and

contemporary dining setting. We pride ourselves on using fresh, high-quality

ingredients to create memorable dining experiences for our customers.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our kitchen

team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

● Preparing, seasoning and cooking a variety of meals in accordance with

recipes, quality standards and customer requirements.

● Preparing ingredients and ensuring all food is ready for service in a timely

manner.

● Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in

accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures.

● Receiving, storing and rotating food supplies using appropriate stock control

practices.

● Working collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to ensure

efficient kitchen operations during service.





● Complying with all workplace health and safety requirements.

Essential Criteria

Applicants should possess:

● A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery, Kitchen Management or a

related hospitality discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

● Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen - minimum 12 months.

● Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and safe food handling practices.

● Excellent organisational and time management skills.

● The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.

● Solid communication skills and a positive work ethic.

Employment Conditions

● Full-time, ongoing position.

● 38 hours per week.

● Rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.

● Salary: AUD80,000 per annum plus superannuation
