About the role
As a Mental Health Worker, you will be required to work within accommodation & community services supporting participants with lived experience including mental health and / or mild intellectual disabilities. You will provide individual support through individual recovery plans that promote emotional well-being & goal achievements. Shifts available include weekday, evening, weekends & sleepovers.
Key responsibilities
Supporting participants with daily living activities
Complete individual assessments
Develop Individual Recovery Plans
Supporting participants social activities
Annual Health Assessments
Community access
About you
Minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health or Disability Services
Minimum 2 years experience working in the mental health field
Understanding of the challenges people with a lived experience and / or mental health issue encounter
Robust commitment to recovery-based practice
Current Australian Drivers Licence
NDIS Worker Screening & Orientation Modules Certificates
Working with Children Check
National Police Check
