Nova Life Support Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to support an adult male participant in the Leumeah area.

This role involves providing in-home support, community access and transport, while working within a multidisciplinary team to support the participant's goals and wellbeing.

About the Role
Ongoing evening shifts throughout the week, with the potential for a rotating weekend morning shift.
Provide in-home support, community access and transport to appointments/activities.
Implement strategies outlined in a Behaviour Support Plan.
Work collaboratively with the participant's allied health specialists and support network.
Maintain accurate documentation and professional boundaries at all times.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
Experience supporting people living with disability and/or mental health.
Confidence working independently and following support plans.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
The ability to maintain qualified boundaries.
A calm, patient and reliable approach.
A commitment to providing consistent, person-centred support.

Essential Requirements
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Full Australian Driver's Licence

Preferred
Experience supporting people with autism and/or psychosocial disabilities.
Previous experience working with behaviours of concern or behaviour support plans.
