We're expanding our FOH team and looking for an experienced Section Waiter to join Melrose, an award-winning hatted contemporary Pan-Asian restaurant in Bulimba.
Casual | Approx. 10–15 hours per week
We're looking for someone who can confidently manage their own section and deliver warm, attentive and qualified service.
You'll be responsible for:
Managing a section of approximately 5–6 tables
Providing polished and genuine table service
Taking food and beverage orders accurately
Confidently presenting and pouring wine
Maintaining robust food, wine and cocktail knowledge
Checking in with guests throughout their dining experience
Clearing and resetting tables efficiently
Upselling naturally and making recommendations
Working closely with the kitchen, bar and FOH team
Maintaining Melrose service and presentation standards
About you:
You'll have previous experience as a section waiter in a busy restaurant, be confident running your own section, have excellent communication and guest service skills, and hold a current RSA.
You'll need to be available for Friday and Saturday evenings, with additional shifts available depending on trade.
