Role Overview
As a Senior Policy and Program Officer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of policies and practice relating to at‑risk children and young people in care, and individual and family support.
Responsibilities
Maintain expert awareness of relevant issues and trends within the state, nationally and internationally.
Project‑manage key reform initiatives.
Contribute to research, implementation and evaluation of key strategies and policy & planning frameworks.
Contribute to the planning and evaluation functions of the Directorate.
Provide advice and reports that contribute to the overall management of the Directorate.
Qualifications and Experience
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies that arise within the next 12 months across the Department of Communities.
