About the role

This isn't your average kitchen role.

We're looking for a Chef who wants to get in from the ground floor and help us build something great. You'll be serving up a mix of up-to-date and classic pub favourites, keeping the kitchen running smoothly and helping us create a food offering that keeps customers coming back – even if their golf game doesn't!

You'll have the opportunity to put your stamp on a brand-current kitchen, help establish our standards and work alongside a team focused on creating a fun, welcoming venue.

What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking contemporary and classic pub-style meals
Delivering consistently great food with an eye for presentation
Keeping service running smoothly when things get busy
Assisting with ordering, stock rotation and reducing wastage
Maintaining high food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service
Helping develop kitchen procedures and standards from the ground up
Working closely with management and the wider venue team

About you

We're looking for someone who takes pride in what leaves the kitchen and enjoys being part of a team.

You'll ideally:




Have previous experience in a commercial kitchen
Be confident working through busy service periods
Be organised, reliable and able to keep your cool under pressure
Have strong food safety and hygiene knowledge
Care about quality, consistency and presentation
Bring a positive attitude and be happy to contribute ideas
Be excited about joining a new venue and helping us grow

Relevant qualifications and previous pub, tavern or restaurant experience will be highly regarded.
