Job Description

Our client is seeking a small animal locum veterinarian to assist with leave coverage across selected June dates. This role would suit a confident veterinarian with at least two years of experience who is comfortable working sole charge and managing both consultations and surgical cases.

The position is ideally suited to someone available for all four shifts, although ad hoc availability may be considered for the right veterinarian. All shifts are daytime hours, with no on‑call or after‑hours requirement.

Qualifications
BVSc or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
Minimum 2 years of experience in veterinary practice
Confidence working sole charge in a small animal clinic
Ability to manage consultations and routine surgical cases




Qualified and organised approach to short-term locum cover

Package
Locum leave cover across selected June dates
Shifts available across Recent Farm and Nundah locations
All shifts scheduled from 09:00 to 18:00
No on‑call duties required
No after‑hours work expected
Small animal caseload only
Sole-charge consulting and surgery included
Ideally suited to availability across all 4 days
Ad hoc shift availability may be considered
