Perioperative Services Clerk – Day Surgery/Theatre

Permanent part time, up to 48 hours per fortnight

Managers & Administrative Workers, Grade 1 (commencing at $27.75263 p/h, depending on experience)

(Junior rates apply to employees aged under 19 years)

In this role you will be working closely with the Perioperative team to support a smooth and seamless process for all people having planned surgery at West Gippsland Healthcare Group. While this position will initially be responsible for completing the day-to-day administrative duties within or busy Day Surgery Unit the chance and training to work within the theatre suites will also be available.

I am seeking a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic person with the following knowledge & skills to join our fantastic team;
Exceptional time management & organisational skills.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Thorough knowledge of IPM is highly desirable.




Well-developed written and verbal communication.
Accurate and efficient typing and data entry skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to operate as part of a team or independently where required.
Ability to problem solve under pressure.

KEY:

KEY:Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
