Co. As. It. is seeking part time Community Aged Care Workers to assist older Italians in their homes to maintain their independence. Applicants will be required to undertake a functional preemployment assessment and a nationally coordinated criminal history check (NCCHC).
Assistance with the attainment of Certificate III in Home and Community Care will be offered to successful applicants.
Duties
Provision of support and care to elderly
Provision of assistance with meal preparation
Respite care
Social outings
Transport
Shopping
Light housework
Personal care
Selection Criteria
Experience in aged care or disability
Commitment to ongoing training
Current NSW driver’s licence and reliable car
Desirable
Certificate III in Aged Care
Fluency in Italian or other languages
