About The Roles

We're hiring Trainee Soil and Concrete Testing Technicians at our Gold Coast Laboratory. You'll be testing soil and concrete samples, operating testing instruments, and handling materials. These roles are a combination of laboratory and field based work.

This role is ideal for those who like to be physically active, are safety-conscious, and are looking for a long-term career. These roles are physically demanding and require lifting up to 15-20kg on a regular basis. What’s In It For You Pay Rate:



$21 - $28 per hour (starting at $21 for trainees aged 18 years, with the pay rate increasing by age and trainee classification, in line with the Award).

Junior trainees (under 21) are paid at the applicable Award junior rate, while adult trainees receive $28/hr.

Permanent employment with overtime penalty rates
