Downer Skilled Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.

We currently have an opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst in Canberra, ACT to work on Defence ERP and Asset Management transformation projects.

What You’ll Do
Support the uplift, standardisation, and governance of engineering and asset management processes within Defence ERP environments.
Provide subject matter expertise across SAP S/4HANA EAM modules, supporting business process design, optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Defence stakeholders, functional SMEs,



and technical teams to translate operational requirements into scalable SAP-enabled solutions.
Support data migration, ETL activities, master data management, and governance practices to improve asset, maintenance, and engineering data quality.
Develop process documentation, facilitate workshops, support testing and change activities, and provide data-driven insights to support informed decision-making.

What You’ll Bring
Extensive experience working within SAP ERP environments, ideally supporting Defence, engineering, maintenance, or other asset-intensive organisations.
Solid expertise in SAP EAM master data structures, data governance frameworks, and data migration or ETL processes.
Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance, engineering, and asset management business processes, including alignment with industry best practice frameworks.
