About the Role

John Hughes Group is currently seeking qualified and experienced Automotive Technicians to join our dynamic team in Rockingham, WA. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services in a customer-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models with precision and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
Utilise advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to resolve complex mechanical issues
Accurately document all work performed and maintain service records
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and provide expert advice
Stay current with evolving automotive technologies and industry best practices

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A formal qualification in Automotive Technology or a relevant trade
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Automotive Technician
Robust diagnostic and problem-solving abilities




High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a rapid-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
