The Role

Reporting into the Financial Controller, this is a critical finance role, responsible for the preparation of accurate and insightful financial, taxation and management reporting for the business. This includes:

-fund accounting
Monthly management accounting for funds.
Prepare quarterly financial reporting pack/NAV.
Prepare BAS.
Annual statutory reporting and audit.
Annual tax distribution calculations and income tax returns.
Annual Fund Budget – preparation of fund expense budget for approval by Board.
Monthly NPI and capex dashboard for internal mgmt purposes (by asset).
Business Activity Statements (GST) – consolidated group.

Debt compliance (LVR calculations etc).
Monthly NPI and capex dashboard for internal mgmt purposes (by asset).
Business Activity Statements (GST) – consolidated group.

-recent fund establishment and on-boarding

The Person
CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent).
Experience in funds management, property, asset management, external audit or a related finance workplace.
Robust technical accounting, financial reporting and analytical skills, with a proactive and commercially minded approach.
Exposure to fund accounting, real estate investments, debt compliance, treasury or transaction-related activities would be highly regarded.
Experience with accounting systems and reporting tools (e.g. Xero and Sage Intacct) would be highly regarded.
