We are seeking a skilled and experienced Qualified Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join the team at JAM Joinery and Construction. This is a full time position (4 day working week) based in Winchelsea, VIC 3241. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, crafting, and installing high-quality cabinetry and joinery work for both residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities
Design and plan cabinetry and joinery projects based on client requirements and architectural specifications
Fabricate bespoke cabinets, drawers, doors and other joinery components using hand tools and machinery
Measure, cut, shape and assemble materials to exact specifications
Finish solid timber work through sanding, staining, varnishing and polishing
Install custom cabinetry and joinery in client properties with attention to detail and quality standards
Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations and industry standards
Maintain accurate project documentation, timesheets and material records
Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Conduct regular maintenance and care of workshop equipment and tools
Provide expert advice to clients regarding design options, materials and finishes
What we're looking for
Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in Cabinet Making, Joinery or a related carpentry discipline
Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in cabinet making and/or joinery work
Proficiency in read
