We are a busy and well-established CPA practice located in Berwick with a large and diverse client base. We provide professional accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, and business advisory services to individuals and businesses across a range of industries.

We are currently seeking a well‑organised, confident, and motivated accounting qualified to join our team on a part‑time basis, working 3 days per week (22.5 hours).

Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Individual, Partnership, Trust, Company, and Superannuation Fund tax returns
Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
Preparation of financial statements for all entity types
Bookkeeping and account reconciliations
Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date client records and documentation
Liaising with the ATO and ASIC on client matters
Assisting clients with taxation and compliance enquiries
Managing multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism

Key Requirements




Minimum of 4 years' recent experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm, managing a high volume of taxation compliance work (this is an essential requirement).
Strong understanding of Australian taxation laws and compliance requirements
Demonstrated experience using HandiTax, Xero and MYOB (experience with all three is highly desirable).
Relevant qualifications in Accounting and/or Taxation
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team
Solid time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Skilled presentation and client‑focused approach
Valid Australian work visa is required for this position
