What You Will Be Doing

As the Open Cut Training Coordinator, you will oversee all site training activities, ensuring employees and contractors remain compliant, competent, and equipped with the skills required to operate safely and effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Developing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring training programs across site
Leading and supporting onsite Trainer & Assessors to ensure training plans are delivered effectively




Managing and maintaining Learning Management System (LMS) compliance
Monitoring training records, competencies, certifications, and refreshers
Identifying training needs and collaborating with site stakeholders to prioritise requirements
Reviewing and updating training materials to align with site policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
Monitoring training effectiveness through reporting, audits, feedback, and performance outcomes
Providing training and assessments within approved competencies when required
Preparing and presenting training reports to management and key stakeholders
Driving continuous improvement across training systems, processes, and compliance requirements

What You Will Need
Demonstrated experience within the mining industry and/or training setting
Proven experience managing training
