About the client:

A well-established confectionery manufacturer known for producing a wide range of sweets and treats. Based in Oakleigh, they are looking for experienced Machine Operator / Production Cooks to join their team on the morning and afternoon shift, with an immediate start and ongoing work available.

Shift & Pay Details
Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Afternoon Shift: 1:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Pay Rate: $33.05 – $38.93 per hour
Training: Start with 2–3 weeks of training as a Packer, learning the production process and site requirements before progressing into the Machine Operator role.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook confectionery products in line with recipes, batch instructions and production requirements




Accurately measure and mix ingredients to maintain product consistency and quality
Operate and assist with cooking, processing and production equipment
Monitor cooking and production processes to ensure products meet quality standards
Perform routine checks and report any issues with equipment or product quality
Follow strict food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
Clean and sanitize machinery, equipment, trays and production areas
Assist with packing, handling and other general production duties as required
Maintain a clean, protected and organized production workplace
Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines
