We’re looking for a Kitchen Hand/Cook at our Cooinda Aged Care, where food is more than just a meal, it’s a moment of comfort, connection, and enjoyment for our residents.

Location: Gympie - QLD

Role Type: Casual Remuneration: $35.40 - $38.22 ph(includes 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging (up to $15,990) + Access to staff discounts & perks. You’ll be part of a kitchen team, preparing meals for our aged care residents and making sure every plate leaving the kitchen is something you’d be proud to serve.

What Your Day Might Look Like:
Preparing fresh meals for residents, tailored to dietary needs
Working with the team to keep service running smoothly
Making sure the kitchen is clean, secure, and organised
Helping with menu preparation, stock control and food quality
Bringing ideas to improve meals and the overall dining experience





This Role Suits Someone Who:
Has experience working in a commercial kitchen, ideallyinAged Careor large-scale catering.
Works well in a team but can manage their own tasks
Knowledge of secure food handling practices and WHS compliance.
Is organised, calm under pressure and enjoys a busy kitchen environment
Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (desirable).
A valid Queensland Driver’s Licence
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
