Parramatta Park View Medical Centre is seeking a friendly, organised and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our supportive team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy medical practice, communicates confidently with patients and can manage reception duties efficiently while maintaining privacy and professionalism.

Key responsibilities
Welcoming patients and managing front-desk enquiries
Answering telephone calls and scheduling appointments
Managing patient registrations and updating patient information
Processing Medicare, private and third-party billings
Handling payments, receipts and daily banking
Scanning, filing and managing incoming correspondence
Coordinating recalls, reminders and follow-up appointments
Supporting doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals
Maintaining patient confidentiality and accurate records
Assisting with general administrative duties

About you
Previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience is preferred
Experience using Best Practice software is highly regarded




Good understanding of Medicare billing and general practice procedures
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Strong computer, organisational and multitasking abilities
Skilled, reliable and calm under pressure
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Appropriate Australian working rights

Availability for occasional Saturday shifts would be an advantage.
