GP Registrar – General Practice with a Skin Cancer Focus

Beach Road Surgery & Skin Clinic in Batemans Bay is seeking a motivated GP Registrar to join our supportive and well-established medical team. This position offers broad general practice experience together with valuable training in skin cancer detection and treatment.

The registrar will provide comprehensive, patient-centred general practice care, including:
Acute and chronic disease management
Preventive healthcare and health assessments
Women’s, men’s and children’s health
Mental health care
Immunisations and minor procedures
Coordination of referrals, investigations and follow-up care

The role also includes a solid skin cancer focus, involving:
Comprehensive skin examinations and risk assessment
Dermoscopy and identification of suspicious lesions
Skin biopsies and interpretation of histopathology results
Cryotherapy, excisions and other skin cancer treatments
Treatment planning,



patient education and ongoing surveillance

Previous experience in skin cancer detection and treatment is highly desirable. Applicants should have positive clinical judgment, communication and procedural skills, with a commitment to evidence-based, compassionate and patient-centred care. Additional skin cancer training and supervision will be provided by an experienced skin cancer GP.

Current AHPRA registration and eligibility for an approved GP training pathway are required.

Pay: From $1,920.14 per week
