Key Responsibilities




Operate excavators safely and efficiently to complete residential house demolition projects
Demolish houses and associated structures in accordance with approved demolition methodologies and site plans
Carry out structural demolition, site clearing, material separation, and loading of demolition waste into trucks
Conduct pre-start inspections and daily safety checks, including fluid levels, greasing, lubrication, and defect reporting
Assess demolition sites prior to commencing work, identifying hazards, structural risks, exclusion zones, underground services, and neighbouring properties
Work closely with demolition labourers, spotters, supervisors, and truck drivers to ensure house demolition activities are completed safely and efficiently
Follow demolition methodologies, Protected Work Method Statements (SWMS), and all WHS requirements
Maintain awareness of asbestos exclusio
