About Us

Two Fives Café is a busy neighbourhood café in Rosebery, NSW, known for serving quality coffee, fresh brunch, and seasonal dishes in a welcoming environment. We are committed to delivering excellent food and customer service and are seeking a passionate and experienced Cook to join our growing kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, lunch, and café menu items to a consistently high standard.
Assist in developing seasonal menus and daily specials.
Ensure food is prepared in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise food waste.
Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you should have:
At least 2 years' experience as a Cook in a café or restaurant environment.
Relevant commercial cookery qualification (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)

Strong knowledge of breakfast and brunch cooking.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent teamwork skills.
Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
