We are looking for a passionate Cook/ Chef to join our kitchen team with experience in a cafe. Bayaroma is a well-established café/restaurant for the past 19 years, we are opened from 6am to 2pm 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea. We are located in an ideal position on the Esplanade across from the beautiful beach in Torquay, Hervey Bay, Queensland.

Our kitchen is rapid paced delivering restaurant quality meals in high volumes. The perfect Cook/Chef for our café will:
Have a passion for cooking and desire to learn
Ability to follow implemented systems
Reliability is EXTREMELY significant!
Experience cooking in a busy cafe / fast-paced environment
Desired a minimum 2 years’ experience
No split shifts or night work – day work only!




Weekend availability is a requirement of this role
Long term position in a well-managed professional setting
Work in a friendly and supportive team
Hourly rate plus penalty rates paid
