We're looking for a skilled and reliable Handyperson to join our experienced Maintenance team. If you're hands-on, solutions-focused, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship, this is an opportunity to build your career in a dynamic hotel where no two days are the same.

What you’ll do:
Carry out general maintenance across guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and back-of-house
Complete minor bathroom repairs such as grouting, tile fixes, silicone replacement
Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and respond to repair requests promptly
Perform painting, touch-ups, and surface repairs as required
Maintain air-conditioning filters, lighting, furniture, beds, lamps, and guest door locking systems
Ensure guest requests are completed efficiently and logged accurately
Support with any hotel renovation projects
Undertake ad-hoc duties to ensure smooth hotel operations
Always work in compliance with safety standards and regulations





What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in a Handyperson, Maintenance or General Maintenance role, ideally within a hotel or commercial environment
Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Experience with carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance tasks
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritise work and manage competing tasks.
A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
Positive communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding internal and guest service
Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays
