Airfirst are seeking qualifiedElectricians to filla full time position in Cairns. The successful applicants will be exposed to a wide variety of breakdowns, service, maintenance and installation scenarios.

We're looking for a candidate who:
holds a Certificate III Trade Certificate (Electrical) with a Qld License class Electrical Fitter/Mechanic together with demonstrated industry knowledge, skills and relevant experience.
has the ability to perform breakdowns and preventative maintenance.
has experience in diagnosis and fault finding and the ability to troubleshoot Electrical/HVAC issues.




can manage repairs, servicing and maintenance of installations.
has great communication skills and a positive attitude.
can maintain and improve OH&S; and overall operational standards in the workplace.
is reliable, punctual and able to work autonomously with the ability to work well in a team environment.
has positive time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
is willing to learn new processes.
can conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment functionality and safety (RCD and Test/Tag of appliances).
is willing to work outside of normal work hours if requested.
has knowledge of and the ability to adhere to all legislation and codes of practice applicable to your role.
has the ability to apply safe work practices in accordance with company policy.

Wish list:
Holders of an RSS03 - Restricted Heat Pump (Split System) Installation and Decommissioning Licence highly regarded.

Must haves:
QLD License Class Electrical Fitter/Mechanic
