Our client is a well-established and qualified Financial Planning Practice with multiple locations. Due to an internal promotion, a recent position has been created for an experienced Associate Adviser who is passionate about Financial Planning and seeking a progressive career path within the industry.
Reporting to the Practice Principal, your role will be aligned to the Senior Financial Planner, assisting in the development and delivery of technical and strategic financial advice for a range of clients including retirees and high networth individuals.
Your key accountabilities will include:
Attend client meetings, completing fact find information and file notes.
Research and assist in the development of appropriate technical and strategic advice.
Assist in the Paraplanning process, developing and formulating Statements of Advice.
Be the first point of contact for clients, delivering solutions for client inquiries.
Facilitate the advice review process.
Maintain accurate client information to meet compliance and reporting requirements.
We are seeking a motivated and driven individual with the following skills:
Experience within Financial Planning, supporting Advisers administratively and ideally developing Statement of Advice documents.
Ability to prioritize workflow to achieve business and client outcomes.
Have a solid understanding of Investments, Superannuation & Retirement planning.
Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
Solid communication skills, able to work well with other team members and clients.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Close completion of Financial Planning or Tertiary qualification.
