About the Role
We are seeking a female Support Worker to assist an NDIS participant who has specific personal, cultural, and therapeutic preferences. This role requires someone with experience in Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and strong trauma-informed practice.
Support a participant with DID
Provide emotional regulation support and grounding
Assist with daily routines and community access
Maintain explicit communication and consistent support
Participant has requested a worker with a cultural background and interpersonal style similar to their own
About You
Experience with DID or complex trauma
Calm, patient, and emotionally regulated
Strong boundaries and reliability
Trauma-informed practice skills
Requirements
Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Community Services, Mental Health, or equivalent(preferred)
All relevant mandatory competencies
Driver’s license
Medication Administration Competency
