Qualified tradesman with CertificateIIIin Marine Craft Construction
Or a Skilled trade assistant with gel coat and detail experience
3 years experience preferred but not required
Some tools provided
Hand skills a must
Preferably physically fit due to the nature of the workplace
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Must live in Australia
No working Visa considered

Standard working week will have you starting at 5:30 am and finishing at 2:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 5:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday. With optional overtime.

About the role

Pro-tech Marine areseeking the services of a qualified Boat Builder / Trade Assistant 40+ hours per week. Long term role with years of work ahead.Some of the key tasks and responsibilities would be all aspects of the Fit out 1 Boat Building process including but not limited to: deck prep, all stainless steel fitment, plumbing, sub assembly of small parts, windscreens, fairing , sanding, application of gel coat, buffing, quality control, mentoring young apprentices, glass fitment and so on.
