This role works under the supervision of an SAA-accredited supervisor and is ideal for someone wanting hands-on experience across solar PV, battery installations, and ongoing service/warranty work .

About the Role
You will be involved in:
Installing solar PV systems and battery energy storage systems under supervision
Assisting with commissioning, testing, and system handover
Attending site service and warranty call-outs
Fault finding and rectification of solar, battery, inverter,
and monitoring issues
General electrical and installation support on site
Maintaining a high standard of safety, workmanship, and customer service
What We’re Looking For
Licensed Electrician or Electrical Technician / Solar Installer
Solar experience preferred (but not essential for the right candidate)
Interest in solar PV, batteries, and renewable energy
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on site
Robust attention to safety and quality
Valuable communication skills and a positive team attitude
Current driver’s licence
White Card (required)
Desirable (but not essential)
SAA accreditation or working towards it
Battery installation experience
Experience with inverter brands, monitoring platforms, and fault diagnostics
