We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter / Mechanical Technician to join a highly experienced team based in Eagle Farm , working across complex rotating equipment, electrical systems and specialised engineering projects.

About the Role: You will be responsible for:
Electrical fitting, fault finding, testing and diagnostics.
Mechanical fitting, repairs and overhaul of rotating equipment.
Maintenance, inspection and commissioning of industrial equipment.
Supporting major rail-related projects and heavy industrial applications.
Working with motors, generators, drives and associated electrical/mechanical systems.
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documentation.




Collaborating with experienced engineering and workshop teams.

About You: To be successful, you will have:
Current Electrical Fitter Licence (essential).
Robust mechanical aptitude and hands-on fitting experience.
Experience working with rotating equipment highly desirable .
Previous experience within rail, rolling stock, mining, heavy industry or manufacturing settings advantageous .
Ability to diagnose and resolve both electrical and mechanical faults.
Strong commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
