We're a specialist leak detection business serving insurance builders in Perth.
You'll be diagnosing and locating hidden leaks in plumbing systems using specialist detection equipment, carrying out make safes where required, and producing clear, accurate reports for customers and insurers. This isn't an entry level role. We need someone who already knows their way around a plumbing system and can think through a fault logically before reaching for a tool. Note: this role covers diagnostics, make safes and reporting only - we do not carry out repairs.
What You'll Need
Extensive experience in maintenance plumbing — you've spent years diagnosing real-world plumbing issues, not just installing new systems
Solid leak detection skills, or a genuine aptitude and background that makes you a fast learner in this space (training on our specialist equipment is fully provided)
Confidence carrying out simple diagnostics and make safes
Solid written communication skills — you'll be producing clear, professional reports for customers and insurers
A current plumbing licence (or relevant trade qualification)
A valid driver's licence
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Leak detection is part science, part detective work
Outstanding communication skills, since you'll often be explaining findings directly to the insurances builders and the office
Ability to work independently
What We Offer
Competitive pay, reflecting your experience
Fully equipped vehicle and specialist detection equipment
Ongoing training in the latest leak detection technology
Steady, varied work across residential jobs
A supportive, close-knit team
