HTP Automotive is looking for a skilled and reliable Fully Qualified Mechanic to join our growing team in Bayswater.
You’ll work across a range of vehicles, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and delivering high-quality workmanship that keeps our customers safe on the road.
This is a full time, secure role with a supportive team, consistent workflow, and opportunities to grow your skills.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical issues (engine, transmission, suspension, etc.)
Carry out scheduled servicing including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
Perform vehicle inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems
Accurately record work completed and parts used
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to safety standards
Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and costs
Provide guidance and support to apprentice mechanics, helping develop their skills
What we’re looking for
Trade-qualified Automotive Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology)
Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Valuable communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Current driver’s licence and own tools
Full working rights in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident). We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
