We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established food manufacturing operation based in Perth. Working on a permanent afternoon shift, you will play a key role in maintaining production equipment and ensuring maximum plant reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
Diagnose and fault-find mechanical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
Perform repairs, installations and equipment upgrades as required.
Work closely with production teams to ensure efficient plant operation.
Complete maintenance documentation and report on equipment performance.
Adhere to all site safety, quality and food safety standards.
About You
Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter.
Previous experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or a similar production environment.
Robust fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
