Due to a recent vacancy we have the need to add to our warehouse team and require the help of a dedicated staff member to help keep up with growing business demands. We are seeking an individual with a positive attitude, high attention to detail, a quick learner and a high level of initiative.
/n
We are seeking a fulltime person for our warehouse whose duties will include:
/n
/n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
/n
Reliable and solid work ethic.
/n
The ability to be able to lift boxes that can weigh up to 25kg per box.
/n
High attention to detail and focus on ensuring high-quality work.
/n
Receive and check all inwards goods against purchase orders and highlighting all errors.
/n
Pick and dispatch orders in line with company policies.
/n
Capable of picking and boxing individual items safely for dispatch.
/n
Ensure all items are true to label and the pick quantities are checked and rechecked.
/n
Regular cycle counting to maintain inventory record accuracy.
/n
General housekeeping of the warehouse
/n
Comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines and take corrective action when necessary in the performance of daily tasks.
/n
Desire to learn our products and industry.
/n
Ability to work under pressure.
/n
Organise freight con notes for outgoing shipments.
/n
Undertake any other tasks assigned by Manager or Floor supervisor.
/n
Ability to perform work requiring minimal supervision.
/n
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
/n/n
Qualifications and Experience:
/n
/n
Experience in using a forklift, coupled with a valid and current forklift licence (LF).
/n
Experience of warehouse functions - receipt, storage, order picking, packing and shipping processes.
/n
Drivers Licence and own transport to work.
/n
Be available for work Monday – Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm.
/n
Accuracy and high attention to detail in all tasks performed.
/n
Accountability for the quality of your work.
/n
Ability to perform work requiring minimal supervision.
/n/n
