We're looking for a
Casual Deli Assistant
to join our friendly team at Cairns Bulk Meats.
About the role
You'll be part of our deli and retail crew, helping customers and keeping the counter running smoothly.
This role suits someone who enjoys staying active, working with excellent products, and being part of a team that takes pride in service.
Your duties will include:
Serving customers at the deli counter with a smile
Slicing, weighing, packing, and labelling meats and deli products
Using scales and deli equipment safely and accurately
Preparing displays and stocking shelves
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety




Supporting the team with general shop tasks as needed
What we're looking for
Positive attitude and outstanding customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and happy to jump in where needed
Able to work in a fast-paced workplace
Comfortable on your feet and able to lift moderate loads
Food handling or deli experience is a bonus (but not essential)
Availability for weekday and weekend work
