Stretford Personnel are working with our client to recruit a Warehouse Operator based in Castle Hill.

About The Role

/n

The Warehouse Operator plays a vital role in assisting in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tasks. Assisting with managing inventory, and operating forklifts, this position requires organisational skills and attention to detail.

/n

The Warehouse Operator is also tasked with maintaining a clean and secure work environment, adhering to company policies and safety regulations.

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n
Prioritise duties in consultation with Senior Warehouse Operator.

/n
Report any low packaging supplies to manager.

/n
Perform picking, packing and despatching of orders via warehouse technology.

/n
Receive, check-in, and store incoming deliveries.

/n
Data entry in the warehouse management system.

/n
Perform replenishment tasks using forklift or manual handling.

/n
Load and unload pallets from trucks using forklift or manually.

/n
Unload containers and sort stock as required.

/n




Conduct stocktakes as required.

/n
Maintain cleanliness and dispose of rubbish in work areas.

/n
Use telephone systems for internal communication.

/n
Adhere to safety protocols and operate machinery safely.

About You

/n

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:

/n

Possession of a Driver's License and current Forklift Driver's License (preferred but not essential).

/n
Organised and forward-thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

/n
Pleasant demeanour and helpful attitude towards colleagues and clients.

/n
Ability to work effectively in a team workplace and independently.

/n
Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining expected outcomes.

/n
Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in handling company resources.
