About the Role and Practice

Our client is a private billing, accredited training practice established in the Oakleigh area for over 60 years. Growing rapidly with more patients than they can handle, this family oriented practice is looking for a VR GP who can add value to their team of doctors, nurses and allied healthcare specialists with their skills, experience and area of expertise. This recently refurbished practice has fully equipped consulting and treatment rooms which can accomodate patients that need urgent medical attention, minor procedures, dressings, heart and lung function tests. General medical services offered here include childhood vaccinations, travel medicine, women & men's health checks, pre and postnatal care, skin cancer examinations, dietary and nutritional advice, foot care, wholistic medicine and pathology. The incoming doctor will be required to work 1 evening per week and 1 in 4 weekends (i.e one Saturday & Sunday per month but can be split over different weekends).

*Open all day weekdays and halfday on weekends.

Essential Criteria:
MBBS or equivalent
Must have a current and valid AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration
FRACGP qualified
A positive attitude towards teamwork
