At Energy Staff, we specialise in delivering high-quality hospitality professionals to aged care providers across Brisbane and regional Queensland. We're currently looking for experienced chefs to join our casual workforce for ongoing shifts across aged care facilities – from residential care kitchens to retirement living dining services.

What We're Looking For:

/n

/n
Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Chef, ideally with aged care or healthcare kitchen exposure

/n
Cert III in Commercial Cookery or higher

/n
Solid, practical understanding of texture-modified meals (IDDSI levels), pureed and minced diets, and therapeutic/special diets

/n
Experience catering to high dietary and allergen complexity across a resident group

/n
Confidence managing high-volume, consistent service within aged care rostering and meal-time structures

/n
Current Police Check (NDIS/aged care worker screening highly regarded)

/n
Reliable transport

/n
Genuine care for resident wellbeing — patience, compassion,



and an understanding of the aged care environment

Ability to step into a facility kitchen and hit the ground running with minimal supervision

/n/n
