Our Hotel Receptionist role is a crucial part of the guest experience at Deco Hotel, located in Braddon, ACT. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring a warm, friendly and efficient service from arrival to departure.

This role requires availability to work evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

What you'll be doing
/n
Greeting guests with a friendly and professional manner upon arrival and departure
/n
Efficiently checking guests in and out, processing payments and handling inquiries
/n
Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any guest concerns
/n
Assisting with making reservations, answering phone calls, and responding to email inquiries
/n
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
/n
Working collaboratively with the hotel team to ensure a seamless guest experience
/n
Adhering to all hotel policies and procedures
/n
What we're looking for
/n
Previous experience in a customer service or front office role, preferably in the hospitality industry
/n
Minimum of 1 year of customer service or front office experience is required
/n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide a warm and friendly service
/n
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
/n
Proficient in using hotel management software and technology
/n
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a rapid-paced environment
/n
A team player with a positive attitude and a desire to contribute to the success of the hotel

Valid Australian work rights are required for this position
