Our client, Harmac Autoelectrics, is seeking multiple skilled and motivated Automotive Electricians to join its growing team. The company is a reputable automotive service provider specialising in diagnostic, repair, and electrical system solutions for a wide range of light and heavy vehicles.
About the Role
The Automotive Electricians will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in motor vehicles. The roles involve working on modern automotive electrical technologies, ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose faults in vehicle electrical and electronic systems using advanced testing equipment
Carry out repairs and replacements of wiring, lighting systems, batteries, alternators, starters, and control modules
Install and configure electrical components and accessories in vehicles
Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications
Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections of automotive electrical systems
Ensure all work complies with workplace safety regulations and quality standards
Communicate findings and repair recommendations to supervisors and service advisors
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Requirements
Relevant qualification in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
Demonstrated experience as an Automotive Electrician in a workshop setting
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with up-to-date vehicle electrical and computerised systems
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
