About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns and providing insightful financial advice.

Key responsibilities:
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and income tax return for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
Reconcile accounts and manage month-end and year-end processes
Provide business advisory services and tax planning strategies
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis




Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Liaise with clients, ATO and other external stakeholders as required

Qualification/skills:
Bachelor degree or higher in accounting or finance field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public practice or similar role
Solid knowledge of Australian taxation laws and accounting standards
Proficiency in Accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Robust attention to details and time management
