We're opening a brand-current specialist centre in Marrickville, and we're looking for a Medical Receptionist to help us get it right from day one.

/n

This is part of Childrens Health Hub/Gutopia — a growing group of specialist paediatric and adult gastroenterologists . You'll be the first face and voice patients and families meet, so we need someone warm, organised, and genuinely valuable with people.

/n

What you'll be doing

/n
Greeting patients and managing a busy reception desk

/n
Answering and triaging phone calls

/n
Booking and managing appointments across multiple clinicians

/n
Processing payments and basic billing (Medicare, private billing)

/n
Keeping the day running smoothly for our specialists and their patients

/n




General admin support as the centre gets up and running/

/n

What we're looking for

/n
Previous experience in a medical or allied health reception role (specialist practice experience highly regarded)

/n
Comfortable with practice management software (we use Clinic to Cloud) — happy to train the right person

/n
Calm under pressure, well-presented, and a genuinely friendly manner

/n
Strong attention to detail, especially with billing and patient records

/n
Reliable, punctual, and a team player

/n

Salary - $30–$35 per hour
