STORE PERSON | HD PUMPS – WINNELLIEHD Pumps is a trusted name in the pump and water equipment industry, dedicated to Making Water Work through quality products and expert service.
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Store Person to join our Winnellie stores team — someone who takes pride in a well-run warehouse and is happy to pitch in wherever it's needed.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on role at the heart of our Winnellie warehouse and stores operation.
You'll be responsible for receiving, storing and dispatching stock, picking orders accurately for trade, retail and inter-store requirements, and keeping the warehouse and yard clean, safe and well organised.
You'll also lend a hand on the front counter and phones, help with basic stock administration in MYOB Acumatica (goods receipting, stock checks and stocktakes), and make deliveries to customers, freight companies or between our Winnellie and Humpty Doo branches.
You'll report to our Retail & Technical Sales Manager, and work closely with the wider sales and service teams.
This role includes rostered Saturday morning shifts as part of the standard work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, store, pick and dispatch stock for customer orders, trade orders and inter-store transfers
Load and unload trucks safely, and manage incoming/outgoing freight and paperwork
Keep the warehouse, yard and amenities clean, safe and well organised
When required assist with sales enquiries over the phone and at the front counter
Support basic stock and warehouse administration in MYOB Acumatica, including goods receipting and stocktakes
Make deliveries to customers or between Winnellie and Humpty Doo
Help maintain supplier relationships and pass on useful stock/market information to the team




Assist with general maintenance, repairs and workshop tasks as required
Participate in the Saturday morning roster as required
ABOUT YOU
You're reliable, safety-conscious and happy to get stuck in.
You take pride in a tidy, well-organised warehouse, and you're comfortable picking up the phone or helping a customer at the counter when needed.
To be successful, you'll have:
A willingness to learn and a solid work ethic
Good attention to detail
Good communication skills
Good computer skills
Licences required:
Current Australian (manual) driver's licence
Forklift licence
Well regarded, but not essential:
Warehousing, workshop and/or sales experience in one or more of our product categories
Familiarity with office administration and ERP systems, such as MYOB Acumatica
Mechanical and/or electrical experience or qualifications

$34 – $40 per hour, depending on experience
