Ruga's Cafe is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Cafe All-Rounder to join our team in Taperoo, SA.
This is a casual position, offering ***** hours, Monday-Friday and the option for every third Saturday.
Need to be available for early mornings (6AM).
Opportunity for more responsibility and hours for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and serving a variety of cold beverages
Food preparation, including preparing ingredients and assembling sandwiches, salads, and other light meals while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
Providing excellent customer service by taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring a positive customer experience
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including regular cleaning and restocking
Assisting with other kitchen and front-of-house duties as required
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a food service/kitchen role, preferably in a cafe or similar environment
Robust communication skills, with the ability to provide friendly and efficient service




Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Basic food handling and preparation skills
Barista experience is preferred but not essential
